In recent years I have had the privilege of editing two academic journals, Dialogues in Urban Research and Geography Compass. These are two quite different projects.
Geography Compass is a well-established journal that specializes in cutting-edge review articles. I took over the Editor-in-Chief role from Mike Bradshaw. Mike had ran the journal for 17 years and I am seeking to build on his excellent leadership.
Dialogues in Urban Research is a forum for extended discussions on cross-cutting urban debates. As Founding Managing Editor, I've spent a lot of time getting this journal up and running. The journal is quicky becoming a vehicle to bring together diverse sets of scholars, providing a home for careful and considered scholarly debates.
